On November 20, 2012, the first 220kV ultra-high voltage cable in the vertical production workshop of Yichang City Federation Cable Co., Ltd., Hubei Province was successfully rolled off the production line, marking the 180-meter-high world's first ultra-high voltage cross-linked cable of the Federation Cable Company. The tower was officially put into operation.
