How to connect low-voltage cables
low voltage cable connection requirements:
1. There should be no joints, especially in the line pipe. The cable joints should not cause fire, short circuit and poor contact.
2. The ceiling is wired, and the main line cannot be boarded. It is wrapped with fireproof tape to prevent lightning flash.
3. The method of wiring with crimping cap is T4 type, which can press four 4 mm² wires. In short, the connection of low-voltage cables should be orderly, marked and easy to maintain. Red neutral wire should be used for live wire, blue wire for live wire and yellow wire for ground wire.
Low-voltage cables are generally connected by connecting pipes, which are divided into copper and aluminum according to their materials. A single material only needs copper or aluminum, and the connecting pipe needs to be twice as long as a single wire. If the cable materials are mixed, excessive copper and aluminum wiring pipes or bolts need to be used to fasten and lock with the three corners of steel wire ropes. 1. The power cable has capacitance and charge and discharge characteristics. After power failure, before grounding, before and after withstand voltage test and insulation resistance measurement, the cable should be fully discharged phase by phase.
2. The basic requirements of cable terminal and intermediate joint: good conductor connection; reliable insulation, recommend use of radiation cross-linked heat shrinkable silicone rubber insulation material; good sealing; sufficient mechanical strength to adapt to various operating conditions.
3. The end of the cable must be waterproof and not corroded by other corrosive substances to prevent the insulation layer from breaking down due to water tree aging.
4. Cables must be loaded and unloaded with cranes or forklifts. Horizontal or horizontal transportation is strictly prohibited. Cable cranes must be used when installing large cables to prevent cables from being damaged by external forces or scratching the insulation due to manual dragging.
If the cables of low-voltage cable manufacturers cannot be laid in time for some reason, they should be stored in a dry place to prevent sunlight exposure and water at the end of the cable.
6. The cable has a shadow, which is more complicated than the overhead line, and has potential unsafe factors. Please check the nameplate carefully before starting the production line task.
7. The distance between mine cable and thermal pipeline should be 2m when installed in parallel, and 0.5m when crossing.
8. The bending radius of the cable manufactured by the low-voltage cable manufacturer is not less than 15D for multi-core cables and not less than 20D for single-core cables (D is the outer diameter of the cable).
9. When multiple cables placed side by side are stopped due to maintenance or replacement, carefully identify the cables; The power outage task should take safety measures such as experimental electricity, discharge and grounding. Check the cable line and always think that the line is live.
